Sharing our network bandwidth with the community

We support the community by sharing the unused bandwidth of our 100 Mbit Internet server.

We do that by participating to the download torrents for recent releases from the below projects:

  • Ubuntu: the GNU/Linux distribution we use on our desktops and server. Great for all kinds of users (beginners and experts)
  • Fedora Core: another great GNU/Linux distribution.
  • Knoppix: a live GNU/Linux distribution, useful for rescueing systems or for trying GNU/Linux without installing it. It is also the base of our KernelKit live CD dedicated to embedded system developers.
  • Kaella (Knoppix Linux Azur): a derivative of Knoppix, for French users.
  • Debian: a great community GNU/Linux distribution, the base of Ubuntu and Knoppix.

This speeds up downloading the files distributed by the above projects, and encourages the use of peer-to-peer technology (like BitTorrent) for legal downloads.
