Romain Gantois joined Bootlin’s Toulouse office in 2023 as an Embedded Linux engineer.
His journey at Bootlin started with his end of studies internship, during which he developed the Snagboot board recovery tool and refactored the Linux kernel driver for the IPQ4018 IPQESS Ethernet switch to decouple it from the DSA subsystem. Romain is currently still maintaining Snagboot, which has attracted several contributions since its publication. He joined Bootlin as an engineer after his internship, and continues to work on embedded Linux system integration and Linux kernel networking drivers.
