10/11/2013 17:09:314I think, 5 days adequate to cover all material the course was interesting and very useful.
I suggest to even increase the days of courses or make it short little bit.
55455544644go through all steps and requirements to install kernel for the boardmaybe real time is not quite clear. So I gust follow the instructor without get attention to that topicGeographical proximity (public sessions only)Course recommended by previous participantsPower management, Build environment deployment and support, Root filesystem design and development, Investigating and fixing bugs4434From a foreign country

10/11/2013 17:14:123Excellent training quality, very good lectures and instructor. The labs are well done and are progressive and pushing people to find by themselves. In addition, the extra added value by Marcin Bis was a real advantage !55Michael (and Marcin :) ) the perfect improvised duo55Lacking maybe some common equipments used in labs company like JTAG debugger5554744Trainer, Open training materials that can be checked in advanceInternet search enginesBoard Support Package development: make Linux / Android support your new hardware, Real-time: implementation and bug fixing, Consulting in technology selection and methodology Thank you !!!

45My problem was the gap time between my progress in the labs and the lectures. I was two chapters late comparing to the lectures progress. Expect very few trainee, all the trainees had the same issue. In my opinion it was the only negative point of this week training. At some point, a bit more of hints or exercises completion from the instructor will help to synchronize all the trainees.

10/11/2013 17:18:343Yes mostly5too much time spent on licenses and legal items for such a technical course. Cover it once in 1 to 2 slides. Was covered twice and too much time spent on it. 5Michael and Martin were EXCELLENT. Extremely knowledgable5more time on labs. Less time on lectures. It is their knowledge that is so valuable - not the content of the slides. The slides are available online and I had already read throught them 555437more time on labs.... 24The labs were the most important learning tool real time was not of interest to me.... but was to others. the legal aspects should be dropped or just mentioned -- max 2 minutes time spent on it. This is not a legal lawyer course.Open training materials that can be checked in advance, Language, Hardware giveaway (public sessions only)Internet search enginesTechnical supportNeed to know how to build system from beginning to endLab time way way too short 45More important than the lectures. They are very difficult but they need to be difficult to get a good understanding. this is not a course for people not familiar with technology31Having martin was critical. they are responsive but with 9 people not enoughFrom a foreign country

10/11/2013 17:18:483I wanted to understand all the "magic" steps I was already doing while developing embedded linux (on beagleboard and olimex). This course really helped.3The Lab book is useful. The printed version of the slides was not really needed for me.45Lots of valuable explanations that I could not find myself online.5555475I will try to take the kernel development course!5The practical labs helped me a lot to understand the boot options available. MTD partioning and booting from it was very rewarding.A bit too much time spent on the general open-source culture and the tools available. I expected that participant have more knowledge of the linux ecosystem.Trainer, Open training materials that can be checked in advanceInternet search enginesBoard Support Package development: make Linux / Android support your new hardware55Very useful: the labs are made in such a way that you learn from your mistakes. The learning process is step by step and folowingit is rewarding.Difficult enough that I made many mistakes. Easy enough that I learned from them.32I would prefer a bit more time dedicated to practical labs. From more than 100 km / 60 miles, same country
