12/16/2016 19:28:452The labs are pressing, but I blame it mostly on my lack of knowledge in kernel architecture as I am junior.Course was technical and in-depth and well-surpassed my expectations5Even before training I used Free-Electrons lecture slides 5Michael has this seemingly endless knowledge base and is open to share it. Even for questions he does not know from top of his head he always provides pointers and documentation.5I went trough the slides in advance and experience with and without instructor is not even close. 5Timing, Breaks, Food. Great. I enjoyed my stay fully. Extra bonus I learned about and experienced French culture and cuisine.5Fair enough. 5Simply perfect5Maybe not as much as the curse holds but definitively my knowledge grew exponentially.5Keep on the good work.7The whole experience was wonderful. Michael is a great lecturer and a generally interesting person. Course is well structured and to-the point. I had opportunity to learn new things, meet people and enjoy my stay in France.5Yocto project as it is not quite straight-forward and intuitive.5Labs. The sheer frustration during them and enjoyment when completing them is priceless. xTrainer, Open training materials that can be checked in advance, Language, CostTechnical resources on the Free Electrons websiteTechnical support, TrainingMichael was always there to help, but restricting his influence to minimum and helping participants learn by themselves. 55During labs I made mock helloworld, i2c driver and serial driver. Practically going from zero to hero. Labs are quite difficult - but i cannot say that is a bad thing. The labs are non-trivial, with bare minimum of needed advice. I think there could be always sections tackling with intuition behind each example.42There could bee more time for labs, but again as junior i think most of the blame is on me.From a foreign country

I lack a bit of experience, so I was running behind with the labs, but having the possibility of staying in the room after class to complete the exercises has been the key. 5I particularly liked the way the lab material. It is written in a way that it gives instructions but does not reveal it wholly. That is great for learning on the go.5Great!555555755Open training materials that can be checked in advance, Content of the courseInternet search enginesNot yet but stay in touch55For me difficult but I could complete the most of them. So demanding, but fine.33From a foreign country

Timing of breaks was great and open discussion and questioning during lectures was much appreciated!Open training materials that can be checked in advance, community presenceTechnical resources on the Free Electrons websiteLinux board support package development, Boot time reduction, Build environment support, Technology and architecture consulting44I wish we had more time to spend on slightly more robust/realistic driver implementations and error handling.33From a foreign country
