1/24/2019 15:09:5834More real different examples (on the internet) could help. 2The instructor seems unsure and not very experienced. Instructor is ok with things that are familiar but if we go deeper .. Also, during teaching IMO, she shouldn't be asking questions like "Are you familiar with xxx command" as often as she does. If someone is not familiar with the command, he will probably feel stupid and not say anything and if he is not then he will again - not say anything. Also, more real life examples could be useful (but again, that can come from the persons with more years in this area)3More examples. 444453yes, but maybe some other more teaching cabable and experienced instructor (considering the prices of your courses..)3labsslide presentationxxxBootlin chosen by my managementDevelopment of real-time systems, Root filesystem development, Bug fixingFirst exercise takes ages to build. Say to students to build it immediately, in the first hour, during the slides. Anyway it is just calling few commands. ALso, one USB with materials of 8G is not enough for 15 people to copy and "speed up". THere was a lot of time wasted in the first exercise during which most of us were just sitting and waiting for the build to continue. This time can be used better5It would be useful if we would have to figure out more stuff ourselves. or with the help of instructor. THis way a big part of exercises is copy paste. I do find that useful too but maybe there could be at least 10% more creativity432

1/24/2019 15:11:3834535444There should be one than more USB stick prepared with preloaded mirror files. Just for the reason to speed up the process.655The slides are very important also for later usage in the job. Additionally I liked the labs a lot. They are structured the way that you also have to think yourself and find ways to reach the goal. Not applicable - My management made the decisionInternet search enginesDevelopment of real-time systems, Technology and architecture consulting, On-site engineering5334I can make notes much faster and easier

1/24/2019 15:16:313Duration is ok.Course is nice. Materials are good, well-explained. Labs are useful.5A lot of information is presented, at least basic and necessary. Everything else could be googled.5Quite experienced, most of questions were answered.4"In fact" was said too often =) 55I have no idea about organization and so on, but schedule/splitting of labs and topics was nice.5Enough for the beginning4I'm a bit out of Yocto now, so this is for the future.7Allow instructor to study people outside of France more often than now.3Not really due to work specifics. But maybe in the nearest future I would have to do something else, and then I would like to continue with you.5Lunch - as usual! Labs are interesting.Compilation time - it's annoying to wait while Yocto is building. Not applicable - My management made the decisionBootlin chosen by my managementLinux board support package development, Boot time reduction, Power management, Development of real-time systems, Technology and architecture consultingUsually this is done by our management.Helps a lot to everyone, usually helping to find some extraordinary mistakes or solve compilation problems (due to OS specific stuff)5I guess, the basic minimum was covered, I'm not proficient with Yocto, so for me that was quite cool. Would like to use some other games maybe as a training material, cause the provided game is not working properly. They were okay. Not difficult, no easy.34For me was enough and even more than needed.5It is absolutely more comfortable for me to work with printed materials than every time change windows to check materials on PC while doing labs.
