- Qemu 0.8.0: implemented the below fix to make MIPS system emulation possible
  (no BIOS available anyway):
  dd if=/dev/zero of=/usr/local/share/qemu/mips_bios.bin bs=1024 count=128
  Otherwise, qemu-system-mips stops before even booting the kernel.
  Note: not sure the latest kernel will boot anyway.
  In our experiments, the latest kernel froze during bootup,
