10/10/2011 14:07:402This isn't a bad grade.

What I am trying to tell you, is that there was so much interesting subjects to touch and study, but unfortunately there wasn't time to cover everything.
5The lecture materials were perfect. I love how every assignments is writing in a way that you can't really just start doing them. I had really to think first or even look things up in lxr or cscope. That was a very pleasant surprise.

The presentation slides are not only helpful during the training, but even now I find myself recommending it to other people. I am still using them to learn more and as reference when I need to look up something.
5Keep up the good work. It is really much appreciated.5I don't see any reason why I should not.5For me it was surprising how much the instructor was knowledgeable! This was definitely the best part of the training.5Sometimes I had the feeling that some subjects were explained a bit more then needed. However I did notice that this feeling was not shared by the others. So I guess this might be because of different backgrounds of other participators. 5That was another this which was really surprising. Michael was not afraid to say that he was not sure about certain answers, but he would always explains it the next day. Really great quality.55Nothing to add here. 3I think the training labs were well balanced.2I would loved to do more practical labs.4Room size: That was really small.
Lunches: Very good.
Equipment: Well prepared. Even had spare keyboards for qwerty users.
Environment: Nothing to complain, nice city & very nice weather. Not to far from cheap airport.
5Really nothing to complain about.5Also nothing to complain about.5I learned a lot, which was the goal anyway.3For my daily jobs not that much yet. I don't use an operation system for my current project yet.

For my free time, well I will start to at least contribute every month once.
5Already did.75More on porting. Also writing a driver, like a simple led driver or something added to the development board.5PCI driver walk through.
Git usage include creating a kernel batch and submitting it.

10/10/2011 15:03:491The duration of the course ist basically OK, but unfortunatly 5 days are not enaugh to perfome the all courses material. Some part of the course can be left. The course should
be more focused on embedded system.

The course have to be focused on embedded system only.
Mush more fokus on labs.
The order and the art to introduce linux driver development have also to be improve,
e.g. (framework, plattform, and conventional one) and introduce early in the training.
